EXPEDITION BY HELICOPTER IN – OUT

EXPEDITION DETAIL
Day 01 ARRIVAL IN BALI / JAKARTA
Arrival in I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali or Arrival in Jakarta Airport, Hotel in Jakarta or Bali will be provided by Your Own also Transfer in out
Day 02-03 – JAKARTA / BALI – TIMIKA
Check out from hotel and drive to the airport. You will fly to Timika from Jakarta or Bali with domestic airline use connected flight to Timika. Arrive at Timika Airport, Our Team will pick up you at Timika Airport, and then go to Hotel in Timika Town to stay overnight.
After lunch to prepare equipment and stuff needs to be taken to mountain. afternoon towards airline companies to weight the goods also for process documents of expedition also for Training use rock Climbing equipment
Day 04 TIMIKA – BASE CAMP By Helicopter
After breakfast at 6.00am we start to the airport, and then fly use Helicopter to Basecamp Yellow valley, overnight at Camp . (B,L,D)
Note: Depending the Helicopter is possible directly landing at Yellow Campsite 4300m (basecamp) Helicopter flights are subject to weather delays
Day 05 Acclimatization Days (B,L,D) Possible in 2 days……
Day 06 SUMMIT DAY (4884 m asl – CARSTENSZ PYRAMID)
Wake up at 12.30 am. Take breakfast and prepare for climbing equipment. At about 2 am start to summit attack, this you need using Rock Climbing Equipment, After summit, return to base camp and stay overnight. Normal time to reach the summit is about 7 – 8 hours and come in back normally 5 hours. (B,D)
Day 07 YELLOW VALLEY CAMP – Timika By Helicopter
After breakfast at 6.00am we start to the airport, and then fly use Helicopter to Timika overnight at Hotel.
Helicopter flights are subject to weather delays
Note: Possible directly to take flight to Bali, in same day…with reschedule your flight
Day 08 TIMIKA – JAKARTA / BALI
Following the flight schedule, You will flight using connected from Timika to Jakarta or Denpasar (bali) Note: Hotel and Transport in Bali or Jakarta we will provided Your Own and here you will say Good By with Our Guide and also Expedition Team.

Brury F Sondakh | Mountain Guide and Expedition Leader He has been active in various outdoor activities such as rock climbing and whitewater rafting since he was in college. He had opportunity to become professional whitewater rafting guide in one of local operator in Manado before he finally back to engage with rock climbing and mountaineering world. Brury who becomes one of rock climbing instructor for outbound and Team Building operator, have also in 2009 taken American Mountain Guides Association AMGA Courses at Ashville NC. In 1997 completed his studies at University of Sam Ratulangi Manado,
Majoring in Social Science.
