DAY 01. MEDAN AIRPORT – BUKITLAWANG
Arrival in Medan. We will pick up you from the airport and depart to Bohorok/Bukit Lawang to orang utan rehabilitation centre in Gunung Leuser nature reservation. Overnight stay in Bukit Lawang, Overnight at Ecolodge Cottage or Rindu alam Hotel
The Sumatran orangutan is one of the two species of orangutans, and rare only at sumatera jungle, Indonesia
DAY 02. JUNGLE TREKING. (B.L.D)
After breakfast at Hotel start walking up the jungle to see the Orang Utan on the their origin habitat trekking through the Leuser National Park is the time to experience to see many kind of flora and fauna as well enjoy the song of birds such of horn bill and Siamang “The Black Gibbon” Overnight in the tent.
DAY 03. TREKKING BACK TO BUKITLAWANG (B.L)
After breakfast prepared by our guide then start walking back to Bukitlawang afternoon you will arrived at Bukitlawang. Overnight at Ecolodge or Rindu Alam Hotel
DAY 04. BUKITLAWANG – BERASTAGI (B)
You will make a trip along a fascinating route to the mountain village of Brastagi in the Karo Highlands. Here you can view two active volcanoes, the Sibayak and the Sinabung. In Berastagi you can visit the colorful fruit market atay overnight at Sinabung Hill Hotel
DAY 05. BERASTAGI – SAMOSIR. (B)
Via a lovely route through the Karo highlands via pineapple, clove and ginger plantations. Stops en route at the tribal king’s house of the Batak Simalungun in Pematang Purba and the Sipiso piso waterfalls. In the afternoon you arrive in Tigaras at Lake Toba from where you cross the lake to the island of Samosir. The car goes with you. Overnight stay on Samosir island right on the lakeside, overnight at Samosir Cottage Hotel
DAY 06. BATAK TOBA TOUR. (B)
Samosir Island – tour to Ambarita and Simanindo and visit typical
Toba Batak villages: Tomok with its kings tombs, Ambarita with its execution
tables and in Simanindo with traditional Batak dances.
DAY 07. SAMOSIR – PADANG SIDEMPUAN. (B)
Early morning we cross back the lake for Parapat then drive along the southern shores of Lake Toba with its lovely rice fields and huge Bataks graves. On the way you can make a stop at the pineapple, coffee plantation. At noon we will arrive in Tarutung, centre of the Protestant Batak church. There after we continue driving through the Bukit Barisan mountanical ridge until pPadang Sidempuan. Overnight at PIA Hotel or similar
DAY 08. PADANG SIDEMPUAN – BUKITTINGGI. (B)
The journey today is rather long but worthwhile. It exhibits the inner part of Sumatra. The scenery of mountains, river valleys and traditional village will relive you from your weariness. Stop at Aek Sijornih to see waterfall drops among to the thousand coconut palm trees. Next, stop at Rimba Panti Nature Reserve and the equator monument. Continue journey to the most charming town, the heart of Minangkabau Highland and the center of matrilineal society of West Sumatra.Late afternoon you will arrive in Bukittinggi in the heart of Minangkabau highlands. Overnight at Gran Malindo Hotel or similar
DAY 09. MINANGKABAU TOUR. – PADANG (B)
After breakfast, we will drive to Batu Sangkar via Tabek Patah, here you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of field rice and some of Minangkabau traditional village and next stop is Batusangkar is considered the centre of Minangkabau culture that has some historical remains of stone tablets with ancient Hindu script, continue drive to Pagaruyung to visit the duplicate Palace of Minangkabau Kingdom, late afternoon arrive at Padang and overnight at Daima Hotel or similar
DAY 10 PADANG – MUARA SIBERUT
Drive to the harbor of Padang then sailing to Muara Siberut by fast ferry, we will arrive at Muara Siberut around 01:00 pm, report to the police station then walking to Muntei village , stay overnight with Mentawaian family at Muntei village.
DAY 11 MUNTEI – KESAGU – DORODOG. (B.LD)
After breakfast we will sailing in the river by dug boat for more and less 2 hours, upon arrive in Kesagu (the gate of jungle) then we walk in the muddy for 1, 5 to 2 hrs to Dorodog, your guide will explain you some of local tool and their life style, overnight in Uma, the Mentawaian traditional house at Dorodog
DAY 12. DORODOG (B.L.D)
After breakfast, we will see the Mentawaian primitif life style they will show you how to make Kabid, the Mentawaian clothes made by the loin bark, how to make poison for hunting and Etc.
DAY 13. DORODOG – MUNTEI (B.L.D)
Until aftenoon still in the long house to witness the real life of Mentawain, and late afternoon we will sailing back to Muntei for overnight.
DAY 14. MUNTEI – MUARA SIBERUT – PADANG (B.L)
After breakfast, we will walk from Muntei to the harbor of Muara Siberut and sailing back to Padang by fast ferry, we will arrive at Padang around 07:00 pm then transfer to your hotel in Padang,
DAY 15.PADANG – AIRPORT
Free and leisure until to the time transfer to Padang airport for your next destination. End of the tour.

TRIP SUGGESTION TO MENTAWAI ISLAND
1. Mentawai Island is one part of Indonesia’s island that is still primitive. So you must be ready of these conditions, and your purpose of visiting, we strongly believed that is to know Mentawai’s nature and culture for a true experience of a simple and primitive culture.
2. Before visiting Mentawai Island, it is advisable to take prophylactic doses of anti malaria medicine at least one week before departing for Mentawai, and should be continued up to two weeks after leaving.
3. Travelers are also advised to bring sufficient supplies of medicine (Antidiarhea and seasickness, cream anti mosquito, first aid and antibiotics if possible).
4. Wear a good pair of hiking boots.
