DAY 01. MEDAN AIRPORT – BUKITLAWANG
Arrival in Medan. We will pick up you from the airport and depart to Bohorok/Bukit Lawang to orang utan rehabilitation centre in Gunung Leuser nature reservation. Overnight stay in Bukit Lawang, Overnight at Ecolodge Cottage or Rindu alam Hotel
DAY 02. JUNGLE TREKING. (B.L.D)
After breakfast at Hotel start trekking through the bank of the river and crossing the river by traditional canoe and walking up the jungle to see the Orang Utan on the their feeding time. After feeding the Orang Utan trekking throuhg the Leuser National Park, walking around Leuser National Park is the time to experience to see many kind of flora and fauna as well enjoy the song of birds such of horn bill and Siamang “The Black Gibbon” Overnight in the tent.
DAY 03. TREKKING BACK TO BUKITLAWANG (B.L)
After breakfast prepared by our guide then start walking back to Bukitlawang afternoon you will arrived at Bukitlawang. Overnight at Ecolodge or Rindu Alam Hotel
DAY 04. BUKITLAWANG – BERASTAGI (B)
You will make a trip along a fascinating route to the mountain village of Brastagi in the Karo Highlands. Here you can view two active volcanoes, the Sibayak and the Sinabung. In Berastagi you can visit the colorfull fruitmarket and the Karo Batak traditional villages in Peceren, overnight at Sinabung Hotel
DAY 05. BERASTAGI – SAMOSIR. (B)
Via a lovely route through the Karo highlands via pineapple, clove and ginger plantations. Stops en route at the tribal king’s house of the Simalungun Batak in Pematang Purba and the Sipiso piso waterfalls. In the afternoon you arrive in Prapat at Lake Toba from where you cross the lake to the island of Samosir. The car goes with you. Overnight stay on Samosir island right on the lakeside, overnight at Samosir Cottage
DAY 06. BATAK TOBA TOUR. (B)
Samosir Island – tour to Tomok, Ambarita and Simanindo and visit typical
Toba Batak villages: Tomok with its kings tombs, Ambarita with its execution
tables and in Simanindo with traditional Batak dances, overnight at Samosir Cottage
DAY 07 VISIT ULOS WEAVING AT LUMBAN SUHI SUHI VILLAGE (B)
Lumban Suhi-suhi village is small Batak village and is filled with the trappings of a typical Batak community: large traditional houses. Batak villages are also rich in ancient cultural objects, including cemeteries built in front the houses.
The women are the weavers of ulos and can be commonly found working in front of their houses. The skill is handed down from mothers to daughters. Overnight at Samosir Cottage
DAY 08. SAMOSIR – PADANG SIDEMPUAN. (B)
Early morning we cross back the lake for Parapat then drive along the southern shores of Lake Toba with its lovely rice fields and huge Bataks graves. On the way you can make a stop at the pineapple, coffee plantation. At noon we will arrive in Tarutung, centre of the Protestant Batak church. There after we continue driving through the Bukit Barisan mountanical ridge until Sipirok. Overnight at PIA Hotel
DAY 09. SIPIROK – BUKITTINGGI. (B)
The journey today is rather long but worthwhile. It exhibits the inner part of Sumatra. The scenery of mountains, river valleys and traditional village will relive you from your weariness. Stop at Aek Sijornih to see waterfall drops among to the thousand coconut palm trees. Next, stop at Rimba Panti Nature Reserve and the equator monument. Continue journey to the most charming town, the heart of Minangkabau Highland and the center of matrilineal society of West Sumatra.Late afternoon you will arrive in Bukittinggi in the heart of Minangkabau highlands. DAY 10. MINANGKABAU TOUR – VISIT SONGKET WEAVING (B)
After breakfast, we will drive to Batu Sangkar via Tabek Patah, here you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of field rice and some of Minangkabau traditional village Batusangkar is considered the centre of Minangkabau culture that has some historical remains of stone tablets with ancient Hindu script drive to Pagaruyung to visit the duplicate Palace of Minangkabau Kingdom, afternoon return to Bukittinggi and stop at Pandai Siket to see Songket weaving, “Songket” is a traditional Minangkabau textile providing the materila for the colorful customary costumes worn for all traditional ceremony. Up today, the “Songket” is still traditionally woven, using gold manual looms, and generally done by women or girls. The motif of songket clothes are drawn largerly from things existing in nature, they often depict flora. The motifs are made by inserting supplement gold, silver or colored thread among the basic thread woven into the loom. Pandai Sikek is the most popular village for its beautiful songket weaving.

DAY 11 BUKITTINGGI – SAWAH LUNTO VISIT SONGKET WEAVING (B)
Today we will continue the journey by passing some the Minangkabau villages towards Sawahlunto, we will visit Silungkang village one of the famous songket local weavers in Minangkabau is Silungkang village. Art lovers should visit the weaving village at Silungkang for a look into how the beautifully colored silk songket sarongs and scarves are made.
Songket Silungkang known to have a high quality, not just the luster of gold thread variety of unique motifs but also a social function as a traditional dress fittings. Furthermore, the value contained in the philosophical life Minang everyday life, which is about the sanctity, beauty, diligence, thoroughness, and also patience.
