This Program is design for Volcanologist, Adventurer, climber for Climb Active Volcanoes in Java island, Indonesia. on this trip you need good stamina for climbing Volcano Mountain in Java. on this trip you will visit Mount Anak Krakatoa, Mount Papandayan, Mount Slamet, Mount Merapi, Mount Kelud, Mount Welirang, Mount Semeru, Mount Bromo, Mount Raung, and Explore Kawah Ijen.. also possible extra days to Climb Mount Agung, Mount Rinjani and also Mount Tambora… on Volcano Marathon Expedition

Itinerary Program
Day 01: JAKARTA – CARITA
Arrival & meeting in Jakarta Arrival in Jakarta, transfer to sunset view hotel at Carita
Acc.: good mid-class hotel in Jakarta

Day 02: CARITA – KRAKATOA ISLAND
In the morning visit of the Krakatoa volcano observatory, preparation of the expedition to Krakatau using speed boat will be take 2 hours sail, then continues to around krakatoa overnight in tent at sertung island (B,L,D)

Day 03: ANAK KRAKATOA EXPLORE – CARITA – BANDUNG
In the morning starting tovisit Anak Krakatoa or neighboring island, climb Anak Kraktau (if conditions allowing), afternoon After a snorkeling break at a coral reef near Rakata Island return continue back to Carita then Continue to Bandung take 4-5 hours. Overnight in Hotel in Bandung

Day 04: MOUNT PAPANDAYAN – MOUNT GALUNGUNG -TASIK MALAYA
A full day in the beautiful volcanic area to explore hot springs and volcanic craters (Mount Papandayan Volcano and Mount Galunggung volcano). Overnight in Hotel (B)

Day 05: Free Day – On PANGANDARAN BEACH
Relaxing and enjoying Pangandaran Beach, and visit Batukaras beach also GrandCanyon River exploring, overnight in Hotel.

Day 06 : PANGANDARAN – BATU RADEN
Drive to take 4-5 hours to Batu Raden Highland, overnight in Hotel (B)

Day 07 : CLIMB MOUNT SLAMET 3400 m
Early Morning drive to Bambangan distric, then start for trekking to Mount Slamet take 5-6 hours up, overnight at Tent (B,L,D)

Day 08 : SUMMIT MT SLAMET – WONOSOBO
Summit trek to Mount Slame 3400 m, then continue to explore Mount Slamet Crater then Going Back to Bambangan and Continue to drive 3 hours to Wonosobo city, overnight at Hotel (B,L)

Day 09 : DIENG PLATEU VOLCANIC EXPLORE
Full day exploring dieng volcano Complex, we will visit active volcano at many location, also visit geothermal power and some Hindus Temple, after noon back to Wonosobo(B,L)

Day 10 : WONOSOBO – BOROBUDUR – SELO VILLAGE (optinal Tour to Borobudur Temple)
Transfer to yogyakarta, before arrival in yogya, we will visit Biggest Budha Temple in Magelang, overnight in Yogya (B)

Day 11: CLIMB MERAPI – KEDIRI
Climb Merapi volcano for sunrise – Direct Transfer to mount Kelud in Kediri.
Climb Merapi starting at around midnight to reach the top at sunrise. After descending and lunch back at the base, transfer a simple guesthouse near Kelud volcano in East Java (B, L)

Day 12: MOUNT KELUD EXPLORE – MALANG
Full day to observe the active lava dome of Kelud volcano then continue drive 3 hours to Malang, overnight at Batu Highland

Day 13: FREE PROGRAM
Free Program, arround Malang City, possible to Visit Cangar Hot Spring

Day 14 : MOUNT WELIRANG TREKKING
In the morning using route via cangar village we will trekking crossing jungle to Mount Welirang take 6-7 hours, overnight at tent (B,L,D)

Day 15 MOUNT WELIRANG SUMMIT – TRETES VILLAGE – TUMPANG

explore Welirang craters to see sulphur mining activities, then continues to summit of welirang and back to Sulfur mining Hut , and if possible we using Jeep going back to tretes village, continue to Tumpang Village, overnight at Guest House (B,L,D)

Day 16: TUMPANG – RANU PANE VILLAGE – KALI MATI CAMP 2700m
Early Morning ,after breakfast drive by 4wd Jeep to Ranupane, then continue to start trekking to KaliMati Camp take 7-8 hours,overnight at KaliMati Camp(B,L,D)

Day 17: MOUNT SEMERU SUMMIT 3676m – CEMORO LAWANG VILLAGE
start at 2am, we ready to reaching the peak of Mount Semeru 3676m, normally take 3-4 hours to the peak with little bit difficult thePath to Climb peak of Mt Semeru, then trek back to Ranu Pane and continue drive by 4wd Jeep to Cemoro Lawang, overnight at Hotel(B,L)

Day 18: MOUNT BROMO TOUR – SEMPOL – PALTUDING
early morning we drive by jeep for Bromo Sunrise over the caldera to see sunrise at view point – then continue to Climb Mt Bromo to see the Volcano and after finish your tour in Mount Bromo, we drive take 4-5 hours to Sempol Village, Overnight at Tent at Pal Tuding (B,D)

Day 19 : EXPLORE KAWAH IJEN – SUMBER WARINGIN VILLAGE

Start at 03.00 am, we ready to start trekking take 1-2 hours to see Blue Fire on Kawah Ijen Craters, also we will see Sulfur Mines Activities, after finish explore the Kawah Ijen.. trek back to Pal Tuding and drive to sumber waringin, overnight at Homestay (B,L,D)

Day 20 : MOUNT RAUNG TREKKING
in the morning after breakfast we start the Trek until Demit Hut Camp, this route will be across virgin forest in java. Overnight in tent (B,L,D)

Day 21 : MOUNT RAUNG SUMMIT – SUMBER WARINGIN (B,L,D)
early morning trekking to summit region of Raung and explore the Summit and see the Big Crater with still smoke going up and hike back to village. Overnight in the Homestay in the Sumber Waringi Village.

Day 22 : SUMBER WARINGIN – BALI/SURABAYA (B)
In the morning we drive to Ketapang to Bali or to Surabaya for your next Destination.

If you have a little more time, we would recommend to add one day or two days for relaxing.

• Good Trekking shoes or walking shoes
• Raincoat
• Warm jacket
• Trek poles
• Clothes easy to dry when it wet (top and trouser for walking)
• Personal medicine
• Snack or personal food for nibble
• Camera or documentation stuff (don’t forget to keep it dry and safe).
• Head torch/Torch with good durability
• Sunhat and Sunglasses
• Personal Toiletries
